THE UNITED STATES IN BIBLE PROPHECY:

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a

lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

Revelation 13 describes two distinct beasts that work together: #1 verse 1-10 The first beast rose up from the sea, symbolizing a densely populated rejoin of the earth, because Revelation 17:15 informs us that the sea is a symbol of many nations, languages, and tongues etc. 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

THE SAFEST METHOD OF BIBICAL INTERPRETATION OF PROPHECY IS CALLED, “HISTORICISM” , IN WHICH, HISTORICALLY , WRITING PROPHETS WROTE PRIMARILY ABOUT THE CONTEMPORARY KINGDOM EXISTING AT THE TIME OF THEIR PROPHECY, THIS CONTEMPORARY KINGDOM WAS PAGAN ROME THAT BECAME PAPAL ROME(THE ROMAN CHURCH). When the prophet John wrote, he was a prisoner on a Roman Island, called Patmos, under the Roman Emperor Domitian about A.D. 96. It must be carefully noted that Rome continued to dominate world events both politically and religiously especially from(538-1798 A.D.) Interrupted by France. Napoleon’s General, Louis- Alexandre Berthier, marched into Rome on February 10,1798 and took Pope Pius vi captive, who died in August 29,1799 in the Citadel of Valence, France, when he refused to renounce his temporal power. Bibical evidence cited in Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded unto death… and ending a long period of papal persecution, known in modern times as the “Dark Ages” when The old pagan Roman Empire fused into the church of Rome, and persecuted those who were in violation of her dogmas. and with a few exceptions, continues to influence policies in the counsels of Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Sultans, etc.

Point to consider: The beast is a man; Revelation 13:18 calls the attention to those who are wise in the Scriptures: Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” (666)

THE CHURCH OF ROME ADMITTED THAT THE NUMBER 666 IS THEIRS: IN THEIR OWN WORDS- THE CATHOLIC NEWS MAGAZINE, OUR SUNDAY VISITOR (OSV) Nov 7,2004 issue,remarked “Unfortunately, in regard to the 666 fable. This newspaper made a gaffe, actually two gaffes.

THE APRIL 18, 1915 ISSUE OF OUR SUNDAY VISITOR, carried a letter from a reader, asking if any words were inscribed in the Pope’s Crown and what do they signify if anything. The newspaper replied; “ The letters inscribed in the Pope’s mitre are these: VICARIUS FILII DEI, which is Latin for “Vicar of the Son of God.”

Since Revelation 13:18 admonishes us to count the number of the beast,we will hearken to the voice of God through the

Scriptures: VICARIUS, WITH NUMERICAL VALUE TO ITS LETTERS, IN ROMAN NUMERAL: V=5, I=1, C=100, A=0, R=0, I=1, U=5, S=0; Total=112. FILII, F=0, I=1, L=50, I=1, I=1; Total=53. DEI: D=500, E=0, I=1; Total=501 112 +53 + 501= 666.

THERE YOU HAVE IT, THE FIRST BEAST IN REVELATION 13:1-10 IS THE PAPACY .

THE 2ND BEAST IN REVELATION 13:11; “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

IN CONTRAST TO THE FIRST BEAST IN REVELATION 13:1-10, THAT CAME UP FROM THE SEA WHICH REVELATION 17;15 CITED AS A VASTLY POPULATED AREA, (EUROPE).THIS SECOND BEAST COMES UP OUT OF THE EARTH, THE OPPOSITE OF THE SEA, ANDWOULD REPRESENTS A SPARSELY POPULATED AREA LIKED THE UNITED STATES, IN HER INFANCY.

This second beast has two horns like a lamb, but will afterward speak like a dragon. Horns represent governments and rulership. These two horns represent the United States two governing principles: (civil and religious liberty). These two principles have also been labelled; (1) Republicanism ( A government without a king, and (2) Protestantism a church without a pope). Other nations since ancient times had taxed its citizens to support a state religion. Most had also oppressed religious dissidents. But the United States established something entirely new; freedom to worship without a government interference, found in the Bill of Rights. O, we wished we could stop here in Jesus’s description of the United States as a lamb, with freedom of conscience, press, speech, its sense of fair play, so much so that a great number of people from around the world seek to become its citizens every day.

In Revelation 13:11 The lamblike beast will someday speak like a dragon. Lets not fall asleep, freedom in these United States of America is purchased at such great cost. On June 11, 2026 at the Liberty University in Virginia a group of Christian lawmakers, known as National Association of Christian Lawmakers(NACL) met to discuss legislation of religion. Anywhere religion is legislated or forced, freedom is lost. Daniel chapter 3, on the plain of Dura is a good lesson book.
