THE MARK OF THE BEAST- ANTICHRIST # 666 IDENTIFIED:

Revelation 15:1-2

1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

THE MARK OF THE BEAST: To fully understand the mark of the beast, we must first identify the Beast. THE FIRST TIME THE BEAST IS MENTIONED IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS IN CHAPTER 11:

REV 11:7

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

IN THE CONTEXT OF REVELATION 11, THE BEAST MAKES WAR AGAINST THE TWO WITNESSES, MENTIONED IN VERSE-3,4.
REV 11:3-4

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

NOTE THAT THE TWO WITNESSES IN VERSE 3 OF REVELATION 11 ARE ALSO CALLED THE TWO OLIVE TREES IN VERSE 4, AND THE SAME TWO OLIVE TREES IN ZECHARIAH 4:3 ARE CALLED “ THE WORD OF THE LORD” IN VERSE 6 OF THE SAME ZECHARIAH 4, WHICH IS THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT OF THE BIBLE. SO THE CONCLUSION IS, THE BEAST IN ITS FIRST SIGHTING BY A WRITER OF THE NEW TESTAMENT (JOHN THE REVELATOR), IT IS SEEN ATTACKING THE WORD OF GOD, REV 11:7 CITED. The second time the beast is seen by a New Testament writer is in REVELATION 13, AND IT READS:

REV 13:1-2

1. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the
name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

REVELATION 13 UNMISTAKEABLY TELLS US THAT THE BEAST IS A MAN, AND IDENTIFIES THIS MAN AND HIS ORGANIZATION WITH THE #666. Here is the record:
Rev 13:18

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

One score=20, Three score=60; therefore, Six hundred threescore and six=666. Revelation 13:18 admonishes us to have wisdom and understanding, and to count the number of the beast: So let’s do it.

(1) THE ANCIENT GREEK WORD FOR THE LATIN-SPEAKING MAN OR THE LATIN CHURCH (THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH) IS LATEINOS.
Adding the numerical equivalent to the letters in Greek.

(2)When the Italian branch of the Christian church pushed its way into the ascendancy and sought control of the church universal or the Catholic Church, it became the Roman Catholic Church or the Church of Italy. This name in Greek is ITALIKA EKKLESIA.

Now that we have identified the Beast and his famous number #666, let’s see what his mark is. “THE MARK OF THE BEAST”, IN HIS OWN WORDS: (1) The Catholic Record, London, Ontario, September 1,1923 States; Sunday is our MARK of Authority…The Church (Catholic) is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath Observance is proof of that fact. (2) Our Sunday Visitor, February 5, 1950 states: Protestants…. Accept Sunday rather than Saturday as the day for public worship after the Catholic Church made the change…. But the Protestant mind does not seem to realize that… in observing the Sunday, they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church, the Pope. (3) Peter Geiermann, CSSR, A Doctrinal Catechism, 1957 Edition, Page 50 States: “We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”

NO MORTAL, FINITE BEING HAS THE POWER TO TRANSFER HOLINESS FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT. However, in “DOCTRINAL CATECHISM by Stephen Keenan, page 176, the Roman Church claimed to have done this and boasted that almost the entire Protestant World followed her footsteps in observing Sunday as the Sabbath. And claiming in other places that she made the change, in spite of no Biblical record. Jesus, who is our example, kept the Seventh Day Sabbath (Luke 4:16). Paul, in Acts 18:4, kept every Sabbath. ISAIAH 66:22-23 The 7th Day Sabbath will be kept in the New Heaven and the New Earth. “Don’t miss the trip.”
