JEZEBEL-THE ZIDONIAN SUN WORSHIPPER-THE CHURCH AT THYATIRA (AD 538-1517)

Revelation 2:18-21

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

NOTICE, WHO ADDRESSES THIS CHURCH AT THYATIRA. IT IS THE SON OF GOD WHOSE EYES WERE LIKE A FLAME OF FIRE, AND HIS FEET ARE LIKE FINE BRASS. THIS CHURCH WOULD GO ON TO COUNTERFEIT THE PREROGATIVES OF GOD, CLAIMING TO BE THE VICAR OF THE SON OF GOD. IN VERSE 21 OF REVELATION 2, THIS CHURCH WAS GIVEN SPACE(-Greek word Chronos 5550) TO REPENT, BUT SHE REPENTED NOT. REVELATION 18:4-5 A CRY IS MADE TO COME OUT OF THIS RELIGIOUS SYSTEM, FOR HER SINS HAVE REACHED UNTO HEAVEN. OF THIS FIGURATIVE JEZEBEL, WE HAVE LEARNED THAT A WOMAN IN BIBLE PROPHECY REPRESENTS A CHURCH. A TRUE AND PURE WOMAN REPRESENTS THE BRIDE OF CHRIST;

Isaiah and Jeremiah cited: ISAIAH 54:5-6

5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

6 For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

JEREMIAH 6:2

2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.

JOHN IN REVELATION 12 DEPICTS A FAITHFUL CHURCH: REVELATION 12:1, And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

THE FAITHFUL WOMAN (CHURCH) IS CLOTHED WITH THE SUN, A SYMBOL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, MALACHI 4:2 cited. SHE IS STANDING ON THE MOON, A SYMBOL OF FAITHFULNESS, PSALM 89:37 cited. THE TRUE AND FAITHFUL WOMAN (CHURCH) IS WEARING A VICTOR’S CROWN (Greek-4735 Stephanos) BEARING TWELVE STARS, REPRESENTING THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL IN THE OLD TESTAMENT, AND THE TWELVE APOSTLES OF JESUS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT. ON THE OTHER HAND, THIS WOMAN JEZEBEL IS FIRST INTRODUCED TO US IN THE BOOK OF KINGS:

1 KINGS 16:30-31

30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the Lord above all that were before him.

31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

SHE ALSO PRACTISED PROSTITUTION AND WITCHCRAFT:

22 And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

THE JEZEBEL OF THE OLD TESTAMENT IS A PAGAN ZIDONIAN PRINCESS WHOSE god is Baal, the Sun god.

5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

SO THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TRUE AND FAITHFUL WOMAN (CHRIST FAITHFUL BRIDE) AND THE FALSE AND PROSTITUTING WOMAN (THE UNFAITHFUL AND SO-CALLED BRIDE), IS: THE FAITHFUL WOMAN ( CHRIST TRUE CHURCH IS CLOTHED WITH THE SUN, A SYMBOL OF CHRIST RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND SHE STANDS ON THE MOON, A SYMBOL OF FAITHFULNESS TO CHRIST, (MAL 4:2, PS 89:37). THE UNFAITHFUL WOMAN (CHURCH) REPRESENTED BY JEZEBEL. INSTEAD OF BEING CLOTHED BY THE SUN CHRIST’S RIGHTEOUSNESS), SHE WORSHIPPED THE SUN, THE MOON, THE STARS AND PLANETS, THE ROOT OF ALL PAGAN AND WITCHCRAFT WORSHIP . AS JEZEBEL, THE APOSTATE WOMAN, MARRIED THE KING OF ISRAEL AND PROCEEDED TO DIRECT THE AFFAIRS OF THE KINGDOM AND ESTABLISH HER FALSE WORSHIP, KILLING MANY OF GOD’S PROPHETS AND THOSE WHO OPPOSED HER DOGMAS, THE ENDTIME AND SYMBOLIC JEZEBEL WOULD DO THE SAME, PERSECUTING TRUE BELIEVERS.
